Great location for Smugglers Notch Mountain, all amenities needed on site, great hotel for a family stay
No shampoo or lotion was in bathroom
What not to like? Stunning scenery, well equipped flat, comfortable and clean, incredible range of services available in the resort (more in high season, but even for low it was not a bad choice). The kids loved it, and the parents did too.
Ummm - the sign on the road coming down from the Notch is not very visible! Just kidding.
The hotel is amazing.
The restaurants of the resort were closed at 8 pm.
Great Location good area,
Slightly dated but reasonable value for money
The kids loved the pools and the fun-zone indoor area. Our unit was spacious and the kitchen had everything we needed.
Mountains smell. Sound of the water flow from the river next to our unit and nice easy walking path by the river with our 3 years old. Kitchen well equiped. Country store on site. Indoor playground for kids when the weather's bad. Toddler's and baby's swimming pool.
Activities fees for almost everything. Lack of healthy fast food restaurant or salad bar. Not too many nightly activities, show for younger kids. Activities were posted but we didn't know where from the board. Speed of cars on site.
Excellent location! Right in the mountains. Staff is perfect, rooms are very good. Highly recommended!
The restaurants in Stowe , good selection. The hiking trails
Many amenities were closed for the season
The house was extremely luxurious and had eveything we needed. We were sorry we could not stay longer
We brought our German exchange students to experience the beauty of fall in vt. Little did we know that we would end up with much more space and comfort than we expected plus the most perfect weather weekend! (This all came the day after an unexpected funeral for my brother) The resort was even empathetic when we called saying that we couldn't drive up as planned on Friday after the funeral, 3 1/2 hours of grid lock traffic, and unable to make the 2 1/2 hour drive north until Saturday. The kindness was above and beyond belief! We had a wonderful weekend and a weekend that the girls will bring back to Germany remembering forever! Ooos and Ahhs all around!
Thes resort and the site
The grounds were beautiful. Mountain views were breathtaking. Very spacious apartment unit with 2 bathrooms.
They told us we were staying "right in the village," but it was quite a distance by road to our building.
